Uttara Swayamvaram is a popular Kathakali Play taken from the Indian Epic Mahabharata.  Written by the renowned poet Irayimman Thampi, Uthara Swayamvaram is an attakatha. The play narrates the story of the Pandavas when they had to live in disguise in the court of King Virata after spending 13 years in the forest.
