Kerala Lalithakala Akademi celebrated the 81st birthday of the renowned Indian sculptor Mr. Kanayi Kunhiraman along with the 50th-anniversary celebration of the sculpture titled “Yakshi” created by him at Malampuzha Dam in Palakkad district, Kerala, India.

The event named ‘Yakhi Yanam’ organized an art workshop as part of the celebration and featured traditional-tribal-gothra-village artists and wood-metal-terracotta sculptors. Glimpses of the event are featured here.
