C Rahim

C Rahim is a noted Malayalam writer, media person, and environmentalist based in Thiruvananthapuram. In a career spanning over three decades, Rahim has authored nearly 25 books, which include more than half a dozen books on ornithology and environment. His Dakshinendiayile Pakshikal (Birds of South India) was a hugely acclaimed work and got included for state government’s Reading week contest. A winner of the state government awards for the best writer on environmental topics and documentaries featuring environmental issues he has been widely recognised for his exemplary works on environment conservation activities like the founding of the Snake Bird Foundation and conducting of Bird surveys at various places in the state.
