Dhruv Bogra

Dhruv, 57 years, is an expeditionary cyclist, author, amateur nature and adventure photographer, motivation speaker and ICF certified transformation coach. He has cycled over 50,000 kms in the last decade, of which more than 20,000 kms are on bicycle tours.

Dhruv is also currently the Country Director of Forever New and a business leader with 35 years experience in the retail sector in India. His maiden book, ‘Grit, Gravel and Gear’ chronicles the 400-day solo bicycling journey from the Arctic to the Andes in 2016–17. It was among the top 100 titles in Crossword bookstores in 2019 and secured many good reviews from leading dailies and publications. ‘Away’ is his second book, in which he shares thrilling accounts of week long bicycle expeditions undertaken by him in the Indian Himalaya.

In 2023-24, Dhruv and his wife Ashim bicycle toured the length of the Indian Himalaya, unsupported, from Kaho in Arunachal Pradesh to Kunzum La in Spiti, a journey of 3000 kilometres over 9 months. He is now in the midst of writing his third book based on that odyssey.
