With a media career spanning three decades, Priya Ganapathy has dabbled in print, TV, Internet, radio and theatre. A features writer with the Indian Express and TOI, a columnist with DNA, Priya has freelanced for Inside Outside, Good Housekeeping, Magna, among other publications. She was Consulting Editor for Stark World’s encyclopedia-cum-guide Big Book Bengaluru & Karnataka. As RJ on Radio City Bangalore, India’s first private FM station, Priya was the voice and brain behind quirky radio icons Lingo Leela (International Emvie Award-winner) and Sister Stella. She has acted in Kannada TV serials, plays and the National Award-winning English film Stumble. She scripted the docu-film Rockumentary on Banjara Hills, winner of two international Golden Aster awards. Besides hosting cultural and corporate events like Bangalore Habba, Emerging Kerala, Ad Club Awards and Karnataka Tourism Investor’s Meet, Priya is a voice-over artiste for documentaries, TV shows and films. Adjudged one of Bangalore’s Top 32 Woman Achievers, Priya is a gypsy at heart and enjoys travelling to new places, discovering people and telling their stories.
