Sangeetha Vallat, a seeker of stories, is the author of Platform Ticket (Penguin Random House) a memoir of her ticketing days in Railways. She is passionate about books, travel, friends and conversations. Relinquishing a memorable career spanning fourteen years in the Indian Railways, she now lives in Dubai with her husband. Her short stories are featured in several anthologies and online journals. Platform Ticket is longlisted for the Bangalore Literature Festival’s AttaGalatta Book Prize.
