Sruthi Bhattathiri

Sruthi Bhattathiri is a recent graduate with a deep passion for literature and cultural studies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Azim Premji University and a Master’s in English Literature from Manipal University. Sruthi enjoys experimenting with different forms of writing: she has tried out brief advertising stints in agencies like Ogilvy, written book reviews for online news portals, alongside her academic and research oriented writing. She is deeply interested in Malayalam folk and horror narratives, and as part of her research has interviewed noted cinema professionals such as director Fazil. Sruthi hopes to pursue a PhD and continue honing her critical voice to contribute meaningfully to literary and cultural conversations. She is also a trained Western vocalist, who has performed at venues such as the Alliance Française.
