Vidhu Vincent is an award-winning film director, writer, and former journalist from Kollam, Kerala.

After a career as a reporter, producer, and acclaimed documentarian, with award-winning works like 'Vrithiyude Jathi', Vidhu made history with her debut feature film, Manhole (2016). The film earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Director, making her the first woman ever to achieve this distinction. Manhole also won the Silver Crow Pheasant and the FIPRESCI Prize at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). She followed this success with films like Stand Up (2019) and Viral Sebi (2022).

Her talent extends to writing; in 2020, she received the prestigious Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for her travelogue, 'Daivam Olivil Poya Naalugal' (The Days When God Went into Hiding). Vidhu's unique blend of journalism, filmmaking, and award-winning travel writing makes her an exceptional voice for literary fests, cultural enthusiasts, and travel readers.
