Malabar Kayaking is an exhilarating event where Kayakers from around the globe compete in the rapid waters of Iruvazhinjipuzha and Chalipuzha at Kozhikode. The Malabar World Kayak Championship is a booster to the adventure tourism scene in Kerala.
World-class athletes participate with great rigour in challenging events like The Extreme Race, Boater Cross and Giant Slalom. Taking water sports to a whole new level, the Malabar Kayaking Championship also hosts Whitewater Rafting, Kayak Training, Local Slalom competitions and many more such exciting events.

Malabar River Festival 2019
Kerala Tourism is organising the seventh edition of South India’s only extreme adventure competition, Malabar River Festival (MRF) 2019 from July 26 to 28, 2019 at Iruvanjhipuzha & Chalipuzha Rivers at Thusharagiri in Kozhikode district.
Malabar River Festival - A Stupendous Experience
Organised on behalf of Kerala Tourism by District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) Kozhikode and Madras Fun Tools, this fiesta is considered to be South India’s only extreme adventure competition.
