Kottappuram

A charming little village in Kerala's Thrissur district, Kottappuram was once part of the historic port city of Muziris. The Kottappuram-Kodungalloor Lake is the venue of one of the tightly fought races in Champions Boat League (CBL).

The venue is 5 km away from Kodungalloor, a port town that once was the centre of international trade in Kerala. Today, it has been turned into a travel destination with picturesque walkways, waterside seating, kiosks, restaurants, and a lively eat street serving a cornucopia of Kerala delicacies.
