Celebrating divinity through Kerala's own ''Pookkalam''

Onam is celebrated by World Malayalis irrespective of their caste and religion with traditional flavour and gaiety. "Pookkalam" the floral carpet have a great importance in Onam Celebrations. Onapottan Theyyam, Folk character signifies the arrival of homecoming of legendary King Mahabali. This Pookkalam entry depicts these myth. By blending these aspects of tradition and using only 10 varieties of flowers (including "Thumba" and "Vari") we have made this Pookkalam.
