Happy Ponnonam with Devi's blessings

We have draw this pookalam with the theme of lord Padmavathi. In this pookalam the picture of Lord Padmavathi's face adorns the center. Lotus (Padma) shape decorates outer pattern. Design is done with 10 types of flowers and leaves. To draw face pattern we have used green leaves, purple vaadamalli, orange maarigold, red rose and white chrysanthemum For outer pattern we draw lotus pattern as lotus is associated most commonly with Goddess Lakshmi. One of her incarnation is called Padmavati (who emerged from lotus). For outer patter we have used yellow maarigold, pink oleander, white chrysanthemum, red rose, jasmine, yellow chrysanthemum, lotus, green leaves and some other kind of flowers.
