Ezhumanthuruthu

A small island located near Kaduthuruthytown in Kottayam is the Ezhumanthuruthu. It is atwin island comprising the main land Ezhumanthuruthu and another small island called Pulithuruthu. The west of this island is the popular water-logged place of upper Kuttanad known as Mundar estate. Emerging as hub of Monsoon tourism and Inland water tourism, the unique feature of Ezhumanthuruthu is during heavy monsoon a ride on this inundated areais a marvelous experience. Being part of Upper Kuttanad, the place is also attracted for paddy harvesting season.
