Situated near Pier Road in Thalassery, the Ali Haji Mosque was built in the mid-19th century CE by the wealthy merchant Mehman Seth, who migrated from Gujarat following a severe drought. The mosque reflects a blend of local and external influences, with German-made lamps, massive wooden beams, and arched entrances enhancing its architectural charm.
