Thusharagiri Waterfalls

Thusharagiri waterfalls, one of the most popular destinations in Kozhikode, lies nestled in the folds of the Western ghats. Thusharagiri or 'mist-capped peaks' gets its name from the enticing silvery crown formed by the waterfalls at the top. Situated 50 kms from Kozhikode, the Thusharagiri waterfalls comprise three other falls, Erattumukku, Mazhavil chattom and Thumbi Thullum para, which can be reached through trekking. 

A trekker's delight, Thusharagiri is a picturesque destination with its evergreen lush forests, criss-crossed by overflowing streams. Rubber, arecanut and spice plantations are also seen in the region.
