The International Coir Museum is located in Kalavoor in the Alappuzha district, the hub of coir industry in Kerala.  An initiative of the Coir Board of India, this museum will take you on a journey to learn about the evolution and uses of coir from its beginnings as a daily utility to today's diversified uses.
