Power House Waterfalls near Munnar in Idukki shows a section of the river flowing across a rocky bed lined with large boulders and dense vegetation. The water moves steadily between smooth rock surfaces, forming shallow channels and small ripples rather than a steep drop. The surrounding area is covered with thick greenery, with trees extending over the water from both sides.

The riverbed includes a mix of flat rock slabs and rounded boulders, some partially submerged and others rising above the surface. The flow spreads across multiple paths around these rocks, creating visible movement without forming a single defined cascade. The banks are irregular, with patches of vegetation growing close to the water’s edge and occasional open sections along the rocks.

This section is part of the larger Power House Waterfalls system in the Chinnakanal region of Idukki. The site lies along the Munnar–Thekkady route and is accessible from the roadside, with short walks leading toward the water. Known for its natural rock formations and steady flow, it is often visited as a stop within the high-range landscape, especially during monsoon months when the water volume increases.
