Punnayurkulam, Thrissur
A coastal village at Chavakkad in Thrissur district, Punnayurkulam is known for its cultural heritage and is the birthplace of many award-winning writers such as Nalappat Narayana Menon, Nalappat Balamani Amma and Kamala Das.
