This beautiful hill station, 50 km from Palakkad, stands at nearly 1600 m above sea level at its highest point. To get to Nelliyampathy, at least 10 hairpin bends have to be negotiated on the Ghat road that passes through the awesome evergreen forests of the Sahya Ranges. But your destination will be well worth the trouble. For a really great view, Seethakundu is an ideal choice.From up there, you can get to see almost one-third of Palakkad.
