Lush greenery, cool climate, clean air and mist-covered valleys have made Panchalimedu in the Idukki district a hot favourite among domestic as well as foreign tourists. According to the legend, the Pandava Brothers stayed here along with their wife Panchali when they were in exile. Situated almost 2,500 feet above sea level, the hill station is a perfect place for trekking in the state.
