This beautifully handcrafted Chundan Vallam (snake boat) miniature celebrates the legacy of Kerala’s iconic watercraft. Originally used as war boats centuries ago, these long, narrow vessels were built for speed and agility on the backwaters, carrying warriors during regional conflicts.

Over time, the Chundan Vallam evolved into a cultural symbol, now best known for its role in the grand Vallamkali (boat races) held during Onam. Featuring a polished wooden body, brass embellishments, and hand-carved rowers (available in 2 to 10), this piece is perfect as a decorative showpiece, gift or a heritage souvenir.
