Architecture & Murals

The architecture of Christian churches stands apart with its unique style and structure.  The mural paintings of Kerala are an amalgam of religion, devotion, art, and literature. The murals that adorn the walls of palaces, temples and churches are a blend of various religious concepts. They reflect the skill of the artists of Kerala. The murals found in churches have religious themes and claim completeness in variety and art. Many of them are believed to have been drawn between 16th and 18th centuries.
