Art Gallery and Museum, Chavara Bhavan

An art gallery and museum dedicated to St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara at Chavara Bhavan at Mannanam, Alappuzha. The displays inside the gallery and museum gives an opportunity to familiarise with the old holy Vestments, antique utilities, boxes, cot which are used by Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara including the chair used by him in the yacht. The gallery also exhibits the box which is used to transfer the remains of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara. There are a number of books displayed in the museum about the Chavara. A miniature Model of his birth house is also publicized in the Gallery.
