St. Thomas Church at Kodungalloor is the very church built in Kerala by Saint Thomas in 52.C.E. Alson known by the names Marthoma Pontifical shrine or Marthoma Church, it is located on the banks of the River Periyar. It is believed that St.Thomas, the apostle landed in Kodungallur on November 21st, 52 C.E.
