The Kanjiramattom Mosque, located 25 km from Kochi, is dedicated to the revered Sufi saint Sheikh Fariduddin. The mosque is best known for the vibrant Kanjiramattom Kodikuthu festival held every January, where rituals like chandanakkudam (sandalwood pot procession) are performed. The celebrations feature caparisoned elephants and traditional Muslim folk arts such as Duffmuttu and Kolkali.
