Krishna Menon Museum

Krishna Menon Museum

The Krishna Menon Museum at East Hill, adjacent to the Pazhassi Raja Art Gallery, was established to honour the late statesman V. K. Krishna Menon, India's Defence Minister from 1957 to 1962. He is also the first Keralite to win the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award in the Republic of India.

Menon actively took part in the Indian nationalist movement and was a renowned diplomat who represented India in the United Nations for 10 years. Krishna Menon's personal belongings and memorabilia, including souvenirs gifted to him by other world leaders, are exhibited here.
