Munakkal Beach

The harmonious rhythm of waves meeting the stunning rocks is a sight of sheer wonder at Munakkal Beach in Azhikode (Kodungallur Town), Thrissur district. The largest beach in Thrissur, Munakkal is part of the Muziris Heritage Project. Taking a walk on the golden sands of this beach in central Kerala will transport you to a parallel world where you can feel the wonder of Nature. There are also wheelchair ramps installed across the beach for the differently-abled.
