Chaliyam Beach, Kozhikode

A serene and picturesque place, the Chaliyam Beach is ideal for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Lying on the other side of Beypore, the beach is mostly deserted. Other than the fishermen who go out for fishing, hardly anyone frequents the area. Tourists have the option to take a ferry ride from Chaliyam to Beypore.  The journey is scenic and if you are lucky you can spot even dolphins.
