Kaduvayil Masjid, Chirayinkeezhu & Idiyangara Sheikh Masjid, Kozhikode


Kaduvayil Juma Masjid, also known as Kaduvayil Thangal Palli, is a prominent Islamic shrine situated between Kallambalam and Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram district.

Located approximately 12 km from Varkala Railway Station, this mosque is dedicated to the revered Sufi saint Kaduvayil Thangal, believed to possess spiritual powers. Established in the late 20th century, the mosque's construction began in 1978 and was completed in 1985.

The Chandanakkudam festival is celebrated annually at Chirayinkeezhu, where the shrine of Kaduvayil Thangal—a revered spiritual figure and descendant of the Prophet—serves as a significant center of devotion and pilgrimage.

Idiyangara Sheikh Masjid, Kozhikode
