Roasted rice powder - 2 cups
Grated coconut - half cup

Method of preparation
Boil water with salt adding to it. As the water starts to boil, add the roasted rice powder to make a dough. Knead the dough till it become soft. Put the dough into a Idiyappam press (Sevanazhi). Press down the dough into the mould. Put some grated coconut on top. Place the steamer on Flame and place the holder inside the vessel for steaming. Steam for five to ten minutes. Idiyappam is ready to serve.
