A long sweep of sand runs parallel to the Arabian Sea at Thaikadappuram, forming one of the more expansive coastal stretches in Kasaragod district. From an elevated vantage point, the shoreline appears uninterrupted, with waves advancing in steady formations along the edge of the beach. The sea occupies one side of the frame, while a belt of coconut groves and scattered coastal homes lines the landward side.
This stretch forms part of the Azhithala region, close to where the Tejaswini River approaches the sea. The geography here creates a coastal corridor defined by open sand, inland greenery and continuous sea frontage. Unlike heavily structured beaches, Thaikadappuram retains a relatively unbuilt character. The width of the beach and the length of the visible shoreline highlight its suitability as a picnic and walking stretch rather than a commercial beachfront.
The aerial perspective underscores the scale of this coastline. Palm groves extend inland, the shoreline curves gently into the distance, and the sea maintains a steady presence along the entire stretch. Thaikadappuram remains defined by its length, openness and proximity to the Tejaswini estuary.
