COCHIN-MUNNAR-THEKKADY-VAGAMON-COCHN DROP ( 4N 5D) (HILL STATION) |
DAY 1 : Pick up from Cochin and move to Munnar. Munnar, the famed hill station of south India, is a romantic locale where natural beauty is everywhere to visit, explore and to enjoy. Situated about 1600m above sea level, the hill station had been the summer resort of the British Government during the colonial era. On the way visit Valara and cheyyappara waterfalls. Check in to Hotel. Relax in the resort/hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort.
DAY 2 : After breakfast proceed to Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake. After noon visit Tea museum and Blossom Garden. Evening time for a bit of shopping. Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort.
DAY 3 : After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Check in to Hotel. Afternoon proceed to Periyar lake, around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). The place where one can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgi plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant ride (On Direct Payment). Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort.
DAY 4 : After breakfast proceed to Vagamon. Check in to Hotel. Vagamon hill station in Idukki have the grassy hills, velvet lawns and overall mysticism of the place cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. This quaint town lies untouched by any modern influences and is neatly tucked away in Idukki district. Visitors can avail many activities including trekking, paragliding, mountaineering and rock climbing. Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort.
DAY 5 : After breakfast proceed to Cochin Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will do necessary support there Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of Kerala trip. |
