Parasailing‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ in Kerala is a dream trip that connects the sea, cliffs, and sprawling sandy beaches with meticulously planned adventures. The state took a step forward in giving the tourists a fascinating view of the Arabian Sea by launching its first official parasailing project at Kovalam’s Hawa Beach using winch boats and certified gear.

Now, Kerala Tourism promotes beaches like Kovalam, Varkala and Cherai as the main places where parasailing and scuba diving can be done through accredited adventure operators.

Moreover, the beachside towns in the north of Kerala like Muzhappilangad and Payyambalam in Kannur, besides being recognized as well-established parasailing centres, have also been mentioned for other aerial activities, including paragliding and microlight flights.

Depending on the location of the beach, a parasailing flight is only a few minutes long, while the total time for the activity including the briefing and the boat ride is about 20–30 minutes. The best time to go for parasailing in Kerala is from October to March but if you are out there during the monsoon season or a strong wind day, then we advise you to rest or reschedule your activity because rough seas are not good for adventure ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌sports.
