My wife and I had a wonderful week relaxing. In fact is was so fantastic we managed to squeeze in another weekend. The spa is great where we had wonderful massages. The morning yoga was exceptional looking over the beach and sea with the sun rising in the sky. The yoga teacher was a lovely man who's presence will remain with us always. The food and view from the restaurant was wonderful. Sorry for all the adjectives but it is difficult to explain how enjoyable the entire experience was. The staff were attentive and caring even when I had a slight cough.

I gave it 5 stars because of the overall positive experience we all had there. We and 2 other families (3 kids aged 9 to 11) traveled far and really enjoyed the environment at Niraamaya. We're there for 4 nights during peak season (12/23-12/27). The resort is in a beautiful setting and was solidly booked but we did not feel crowded at all. We had a Rock Garden room in a lush setting which was very very roomy for the 4 of us. It has an indoor and outdoor shower. Even thought there's no kid's club, our children enjoyed soaking in the beaches , pool, DIY yoga by the yoga platform, pottery lessons, and just make up things to do. We arranged for a Cultural Immersion trip to Trivandrum and learned so much more about India culture and especially the Kerala’s people and their hospitality. The lunch was also delicious after we're taught how to make Kerala fish curry. We adults also enjoyed our Ayurvedic spa treatments that we had every day.
