Aroma Homestay is a newly constructed fully furnished bed & breakfast situated in a serene, charming residential area of Fort Cochin with walkable distance to all the tourist attractions of Fort Kochi. Aroma Home Stay's reception is open 24 hours. The property is suitable for children and there are no age restrictions. Our check in time is 12 noon and check out time is 11 am. Free 24 hours Wi-Fi, Toiletries, bath linen, locked wardrobe and room cleaning are available. Such a lovely welcoming family, Joseph and Elizabeth are such genuine caring people who are interested in their visitors and enjoy sharing stories and information about Fort Kochi and the Kerala area. The Homestay itself was very clean and tidy, I stayed in a front room with a balcony which had air-con, ceiling fan and an en-suite and was very comfortable. The homestay is situated in a very convenient spot, walking distance to most of the main sites.
As a solo traveler I felt very at home and safe at Aroma and in Fort Kochi. Joseph and Elizabeth went out of their way to provide exceptional service with daily home cooked local meals (delicious) and organized a yoga lesson for me with a great local instructor and escorted me all the way to the door so I wouldn't get lost! :)

THE BEST #HOMESTAY I HAVE EVER BEEN ! We came with a #German research team of five and stayed at Joseph's and Elisabeth's place for two weeks. Both of them are very interesting, lovely people who have a great mission which is making their guests being happy. Every morning they surprised us with different traditional Keralan style breakfasts. They have a large living room for their guests with sofa and tables etc. which we turned into an office for two weeks. AC, hygiene, lights, bathroom, beds... everything very new and in oerfect condition. Also, they give you all kind of information for good restaurants, local shopping or sightseeing. I especially enjoyed our discussions on Indian culture, Western culture and #Keralan exceptions. ;)

I CAN RECOMMEND #AROMA #HOMESTAY to everybody. I had the best stay during my #travels through #India, and actually returned at the end of my travels. It felt like a home away from home. Joseph and Elizabeth make sure to take care of all guest and are most helpful in advising how to optimally experience #Kochi. The Home Stay is easy reachable, and from there many things are in walkable distance or just take a rickshaw (or rent a bike). The rooms are clean, always warm water available and WiFi. The Home Stay is suitable for any kind of traveler, but as a solo traveler, I can recommend this Home Stay. Every morning we had a new #traditional #Kerala #breakfast and nice talks with all the #guests. If you're looking for a safe and home feeling, you should definitely spend your time at Aroma Home Stay. It's a very reasonable price for all the services and cleanliness.
