Pulikkuttyserry-Vembaadu lake natural waterways are very close to our homestay.We can reach kumarakom, Pathiramanal, Thannirmukkam, Alleppy by travelling through this way. You can enjoy your veacation tesion-free with our family with homely food and modern facilities.

Canoe Riding

In backwaters, small canal are located in the Kuttickattil Gardens Homestay . For that All our Guests we provide a Canoe Riding facility. Forget the houseboats! The real backwaters life can be seen from the Canoe Boat . Kerala Canoeing is doing excellent tour here. Takes you to the places where Houseboat & Canoe will never take you. You are close to everyday life of the people living by the canals. You are close to Cormorants and Kingfishers.

Coracle Boating or Kuttavanchi Riding

The Kutta Vanchi or coracle is a small, roundish shaped, lightweight boat of the sort traditionally using in Kerala for fishing and travelling. The Kuttickattil Gardens Homestay offer a Free Kutta Vanchi safari or coracle ride during the stay at our Homestay. It is a very good experience to our guest to ride in the coracle Boat. We provide safety life jackets during the boating time.

Fishing Point

The Kuttickattil Gardens Homestay offers fishing facilities to our guest , we provide net , hook and stick for catching fishes form the in front river. The fishing techniques in Kerala are very old and the Kerala fishermen are well known to be experts in the skills of fishing with their greatest asset being the knowledge of fish, fish habits.

Swimming Ghat

Swimming is beneficial in this regard not only because it can provide an aerobic workout, but also because the resistance provided by the water builds muscle, which helps with blood sugar control. All in all, swimming is a great workout for your body. It works your lungs, heart and the muscles of your entire body.

A Lovely Bed n Breakfast in the banks of River Meenachil. The rooms are very basic but well kept with a professional touch. They even provide a booklet with route maps, bus timings and nearby tourist destinations in every room. The lack of luxury is compensated well by the superbly helpful family and lush green surroundings. You can spend the evenings relaxing on the banks of river or exploring the nearby paddy field. You can also take a ferry to the near by Kumarakom Lake.
They make you feel at home and the food is tasty. For a budget traveler this is great value for money.

This stay is in the middle of village of north east Kumarakom and Arpookara upper Kuttanad area, 20 min from Kottayam by Rikshaw. amazing place, many animals and rice field. the house is great, staff very kind and the food is better than what you would get in any restaurant. this place will give you a glance on real village Kerala life, people are friendly. the public boat service is close by and will take you up inside the backwaters, your house would give advise. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

One of the Excellent place to stay in Kottayam. A good place for families and group of friends to stay in Kottayam. The amazing Backwater Boating service to Kumarakom Vembanad Lake from the Kuttickattil Gardens Homestay is only 20 rupees in the Govt. ferry boat. The Ferry boating is very safe and the journey with the local community is very enjoyable. The Kuttickattil Gardens Home Stay is also providing a Kayaking Facilities all the Guests. The Kayaking through the inland waterway is very amazing trip to enjoy the nature and visiting the local Village community. The Kayaking Tour and the Ferry Boating to Kumarakom and the Muhamma region in Alleppey is the Highlight of the Stay in Kuttickattil Gardens Home Stay. I Booked this Home Stay for 2 weeks to Enjoy my Vacation Trip and to Experience the Ayurvedic Treatment and for Visiting the famous Pilgrim Centers in Kottayam. This Place is Highly Recommitted. Homestay here is so excellent with fine dining, lush green surroundings and good hospitality. One can view backwaters from here which is a graceful experience for me. Another experience was my boating to kumarakom by ferry from kuttickattil gardens homestay. They provide kayaking and canoeing for tourists. Even tourists comming to kumarakom can enjoy kayaking facility provided by this homestay. They treated me as their family member and enjoyed fishing for a long time
