Overview

Shankaram is essentially a family oriented holiday home designed to provide a serene, eco-friendly, non-smoking and non-alcoholic environment to the guests. The resort is situated right on the banks of River Periyar facing the mountain range of Western Ghats. The resort's primary attractions are the abundant natural beauty of the premises and river Periyar with the mountain ranges and national reserve forests in the background. The Kodanad Elephant Sanctuary is a unique must-see destination and so are the lovely picnic spots at Paniyeli Poru. From the resort and across the river, you can see clearly the St Thomas shrine on the Malayatoor hill revered by the Christians all over the world. This place is more than a home away from your home.
