5 Home away from home!

On a recent trip to Kannur, Kerala, we stayed at Thanima, a lovely, neat and clean homestay, run by the warm Mr Santosh and his lovely wife Sindhu.
A home away from home describes Thanima in a nutshell. We throughly enjoyed our stay here, we lacked nothing here. Interacting with other close members of the family added an extra dollop of charm to our stay here. When we parted after just one night of staying here, we felt like we were bidding adieu to our own.
Thanima is strategically located 1.2 kms from the famous Madayyikavu temple, a prominent Devi temple of Kannur district. Thanks to Sindhu's mom's suggestion, we also visited the Raja Rajeswara temple. Not too far from Madayyikavu. We also had the pleasure of going to the beautiful Chuttad beach and the charming Valayapra floating water park.
All in all a great brief holiday definitely enhanced by our stay at Thanima.
