Overview

The Canaan Marari is an old building dating back to the 1800's. It has been an integral part of the local history. The historic owners of the property were wealthy farmers. There is an underground room which was used in the old times to store grains. There are 5 rooms on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the first floor. The central living room is where we host our meals. The central living area consists of a 'Naalkettu' which encloses a small indoor pool. The outdoor space is lush green and sandy. We have had guests who have spent an entire night digging their feet into the cold sand and relaxing on the backyard under a canopy of trees and stars. Chethy beach is a hop away. You can enjoy a quiet evening on the beach watching the sun set.
