Set in about an acre of land, trees shaded and cool, water bodies, a unique structure built to suit the natural topography, we have all the facilities of a functional home with modern amenities, ample free parking.

The hosts are well educated, travelled most of India, worked in India and abroad. They can speak English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada.

Being a travel enthusiast, I have always looked forward to unique experiences in my travel. Staying at Torch Ginger gave me just that. A good relaxing few days at this property was just the vacation i was looking for. They are a warm family and gave me wholesome experience.

It is definitely a luxe homestay - It was a perfect getaway from the city. The property is well designed and landscaped, beautiful feel! The fact that this haven is so close to the town literally amazes me! Feels like it's in the middle of nowhere! Exotic and unique! Definitely need to stay here atleast once! Torch Ginger is definitely one of those places, which becomes the destination for enjoyment. You end up spending more time in the property!

Definitely one that I never experienced ever in my travels. Splendid space, inside-out. Had a wholesome experience in terms of the luxurious aesthetic, hospitality, activities also positioned right in the heart of town, and yet felt like a different world. The property is well facilitated with anything you will need on a holiday, be it barbecues, camping, and even fishing (by the beautiful internal water pond). Ample space inside the house and around to take long strolls through the vast orchards. The landscape and biodiversity around the plot more than satisfied the expectation of spectacular 'Wayanad'. Must experience this gem of a place to stay.

Our stay at Torch Ginger was truly remarkable – a homestay with a resort-like feel and a warm, family atmosphere fostered by Mr. Rajesh, Mrs. Yamini, their mother, and children. Even our pet Nura had a delightful time with the fishes and ducks in the pond. Overall, it was an exceptional experience that we’d love to repeat.
