Ms. Joel and her companion,
both from Switzerland are glad to be in Kerala, because Kerala is one among the
many travel related subjects they were dealing at the time of their visit.
Their first brush with houseboats and backwaters has left them spellbound. Both
of them work for a media group in Switzerland and are very keen to explore
Kerala and study the specialties of the land in detail.
But, according to Joel, this perhaps would need another visit to Kerala, as time
was not on their side to visit coffee and tea plantations and to go to places
like Thekkady to enjoy the wildlife. Ms. Joel was especially overwhelmed by the
quiet that prevailed in Kerala unlike other places in the world, and was also
pleased by the kind and loving nature of the local people, who always had a
smile for everything on their face.
