Raining Life

Life is a long journey and our roles as fathers, mothers, grandparents, students, friends, teachers, mentors, siblings, professionals etc. drain from within us our energy and quite often, our health.

What can we do to nurture our God given gift of good health?

In Kerala, the harsh heat of the summer is followed by a season of rejuvenation. A season wherein the dry, dead, tired vegetation of the land is imbued with a new lease of life and the parched earth quenches its thirst.

Monsoons, a season for rejuvenation not just for Nature but for the people of God’s Own Country as well…

The only land that has an unbroken tradition of the 5000 year old system of Ayurveda, Kerala has nurtured its traditional methods of healing for centuries. An age-old system of medicine, Ayurveda is a science of holistic living and longevity.  It is the most sought after method of health care for different ailments around the year. And the Monsoons are the ideal time for the different rejuvenation therapies.

The rains keep the atmosphere dust- free and cool helping Nature recoup. With the calmness of the environment, the soothing climate and clean air, the pores of the human body open up making it receptive to different herbal oils and therapies. These then work to renew and retain the fine balance of the body by eliminating the toxins which are byproducts of an unhealthy and incorrect lifestyle.

Take a break from mundane daily life. Break free from bonds, duties and responsibilities. Drop by at God’s Own Country and find out what it feels like to rediscover your body, mind and heart.

Ayurvedic spas and healthcare centres are abundant across the state in various resorts and otherwise. Each of them offers a wide spectrum of stress relieving and rejuvenating packages that can be customised to suit the individual needs of each visitor to the shores of Kerala.

This monsoon, set out on a journey of self exploration and rediscovery.
