ITTM: State to highlight tourism specialities
As per the Minister for Tourism, Prof. K. V. Thomas the upcoming 5th International Travel and Tourism Mart (ITTM) 2003 at New Delhi will be a venue to highlight the unique qualities of Kerala as a tourist destination. The minister said this while addressing the presentation-cum-industrial meet held recently in connection with ITTM, which is being organized directly by the Union Government’s Department of Tourism. Prof. Thomas expects the event to generate excellent business opportunities for tour operators and travel agents in Kerala.
The Tourism Director, the President of the Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association, and the President of the Kerala Travel Mart also attended the function.
