Tourism police information counter at Athirapilly
A tourism police information counter has been opened at the popular tourist centre at Athirapilly.
The DIG of Police Mr. Y. Anil Kumar inaugurated the counter last month. The counter is located on the approach road, close to the Athirapilly waterfall. Tourists can avail all necessary information from the new counter, and can also deposit their belongings in safe custody.
The personnel at the counter will also maintain a strict vigil on those who misbehave and create unpleasant situations in the tourist centre. A head constable and six other personnel, in blue shirts, man the police information counter.
