Kovalam Ashok Beach Resort to be repositioned
Thiruvananthapuram, December 25: The Kovalam Ashok Beach Resort, ITDC's (India Tourism Development Corporation) hotel in the State, will be 'repositioned' after its renovation and the addition of more facilities.
The plan is to position the resort as an ideal convention destination combining business withh pleasure holidays. Already, five major conferences are on the pipeline at the Rajiv Gandhi Convention Centre which offers state-of-the-art conferencing facilities.
As part of the property upgradation 24-hour coffee shop and the Admiral Bar have been renovated and opened to guests. Motor boats, speed boats, water cycles, water scooters, long boats, row boats, country boats and wind surfers are now available to tourists at the resort's private beach.
