DTPC facilitation centre coming up at Kallar
A new District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) facilitation centre at Kallar is getting ready for commissioning.Kallar is a favourite tourist attraction on the way to Ponmudi hill resort in Thiruvananthapuram.The new DTPC centre has a resting area, restaurant, toilets, changing rooms, shops to sell forest produce, STD and ISD booths, Internet caf?, beer parlour and car parking area.The centre would be of immense help to tourists, who arrive at the Golden Valley for a cool dip in the Kallar River and visit the eco-tourism project, before proceeding to Ponmudi hill resort.
