Cochin Port Trust to develop cruise terminal
The Cochin Port Trust is pursuing the
idea of developing a cruise terminal of international standards in order to
sustain its growth in the globalised shipping scenario.
According to the
Port Trust Chairman, Mr. Jacob Thomas, the last decade witnessed a spectacular
growth in the tourism sector. Kerala, which is at the forefront in cashing on
this boom, has taken rapid strides in the development of the tourism
sector.
