'Eco Floatel' launched at Poovar Resort
A floating cottage named ' Eco
Floatel' has been launched at the Poovar Island Resort, a resort complex at
Vizhinjam near Thiruvananthapuram. The Minister for Tourism, Prof. K. V. Thomas
inaugurated the resort on January 8th.
'Eco-Floatel', the floating
cottage that has been conceptualised and constructed with eco-friendly features,
is one of the finest examples of Eco-friendly tourism
spots.
'Eco-Floatel' is built on a compact and cosy 550 - square feet
space, comprising of all the facilities available in a suite. The cottage
consists of two rooms, each with a private deck looking out towards the vast
Arabian Sea. Its thatched roof is made of natural grass.
