Mr. T. O. Sooraj is new Director for Kerala Tourism
Mr.T.O.Sooraj IAS has taken over as the new Director for Kerala Tourism. Mr. Sooraj was serving as the District Collector of Kozhikode before taking charge of tourism from Mr. Alkesh Kumar Sharma.
Mr. Sooraj, a native of Kottarakkara, is a post-graduate degree holder in Science with a bachelor's degree in Law. Belonging to the 1994 IAS batch, he had held the posts as the District Collector, Thrissur (2001-2002), Inspector General of Registration, RDO in Pala and Muvattupuzha and Deputy Collector in Ernakulam. Before his induction into IAS, he had also served as the Officer in Forest Department and Officer in Canara Bank.
