Kerala Tourism has introduced a new website in Malayalam, namely http://malayalam.keralatourism.org. This website will give a better understanding to the new generation about the culture of Kerala. It will also be a useful source for the non-resident Keralites, especially the younger generation to have a good understanding about the art and culture of the State. Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Minister for Tourism inaugurated the site. Dr. Venu V., Secretary, Kerala Tourism was present on the occasion. This site is designed by Invis Multimedia, the IT solution provider to Kerala Tourism.
The new vernacular website currently has thirteen sections, including those dealing with language, literature, art and culture, festivals, geography, and economy. Various aspects of Kerala?s literature, art, architecture, music, painting, cinema, festivals and history are the other topics that feature in the new website.
This is the sixth site launched by Kerala Tourism. Already there are sites in French, Italian, Spanish, German and English. The work for launching a site in Hindi has commenced.
